My competition orange is 2004. They had another in 2008. I'm hoping for 2012 at this point. I'll be ready to replace my 04' about then.

What works really well is to also vent the sunroof. That, or crack the back two windows... lots of airflow then.

I am having this very problem on my 2004 4x4 Adrenaline... bugging the heck outta me just today. Normally it will eventually set but today I took a long 1 hr drive and it would never stick and stay on. I'd love to see the answer to this so I can fix it. Hey... I never got a letter either...

I for one would give deep consideration to moving on, stepping away from it... 200K is a long life. If you do fix the tranny, consider selling it and letting somebody else deal with the engine life. If you hang on to it too much longer after fixing the tranny, you may endd up footing the bill...

Just an update... It was the gasket on the drain pan afterall. It took a while to leak but I went on a long trip today. Just after I got home, I crawled under there and found where it was leaking. It was leaking near the corner. Once I stuck a wrench on it, the bolt was looser than the rest...

I may have just answered my own question. Per link below, it says it should take 4 qts. I had it hot & idling while I filled w/fluid and it drank about 5 and 1/2 qts before it was in the crosshatch of the dipstick. Did I really do this rookie mistake? Somebody tell me how much it was...
