Anyone ever have one light go out? That is my problem. One works (passenger side) but the other does not (driver side). I'm not sure how I would even test to see what the problem is.

I replaced the lower ball joints in my truck yesterday. Thanks to swshawaii for a link to a good how-to and cayman for his how-to!
It took me about 5 hours, including a run to Advance Auto for a pickle fork. Yes, you do need a pickle fork!
Some advice
Put the grease fitting in when you get...
The first link goes to K80068, not K80065. The K80068 looks like it would fit my 2001 Ford Ranger. Actually replace the 2 part system that is there now. Anyone know what would be involved switching to the one piece as far as installation? I know I would have to get the truck aligned.
I thought I had the vehicle information in my profile. It is a 2001 Ford Ranger, close to the Sport Trac. This forum is by far better than any Ranger forum.
I took the truck to my mechanic to have the ends replaced because we are supposed to get a snow storm in a day and I wasn't sure if I...
When I got home I got underneath the truck and lo and behold the top of the sway bar link on one side is lose! Looks like an easy fix, is that so? The only problem I could see would getting the nuts off without an impact wrench.
How can I tell if the links are bad?
BTW, I went out at lunch and pushed down on the bumper on either side. There was a noise from both sides that I'm sure shouldn't have been there.
There is a clunking noise from the front of my truck. I thought it might be CV joints but it is not specific to turning. My mechanic suggested that it might be the front drive shaft. I started to wonder if it might be in the suspension e.g. ball joints. Any ideas?
Just know that the Wagner rotors are made in China! I ordered them from Rock Auto (they do have great prices!) and was disappointed to discover where they were made. Maybe all rotors are made in China.
I have a 2001 Ranger and have the same problem. I did some research and found that the filler tube is the issue. I may have posted on this forum about it. I believe the tube has to be replaced. I didn't as it only happens when filling and it isn't enough to concern me.
I ordered Wagner rotors for my Ranger. Imagine my surprise and disappointment when I looked at the label on the box and saw 'Made in China'. I assumed Wagner would be made in the USA. I wonder if Raybestos rotors are made in China?
