Sounds like the Reverse band is gone be careful driving, you have very limited miles before complete failure, try and find a new remand if you can other wise your options are limited

Okay if you have lifted it up and looks intact it’s good, have you replaced the Spark Plugs Fuel Filter and Fuel pump?

Check your drive line, sounds like your Steady bearing is done... as well as inspect the Ball Joints, to inspect the steady bearing look at the Rubber hanger around the drive shaft if it is Broken away you need to replace it, you can do this yourself in a hour.. But you will need a new Drive...
