Try This... It worked for me!

Mine is the LTD 4x4 with 41K miles. Driving across Wyoming last September, I got 24 MPG on one tank. Then over the winter it dropped off to 17-18 and back up in the spring to 18.5. Today 20.5...Big change.

Try This... It worked for me!

Had an issue in my 2007 V8 with the check engine light coming on after being stuck in traffic for two hours going up the 6-7% grade to the Eisenhower Tunnel here in Colorado yesterday. Trac did not over heat, but the computer obviously was messed up as shifting was rough and out of sequence...

    2007 Alarm System Help!!!

I have an issue with the alarm system on my 2007 ST Limited : So, I'm at a shopping mall this afternoon and I walk up to my ST, unlock the tailgate, open it and an alarm system I didn't even know I had went off! When I bought the truck new, it had an alarm installed (by the dealer I presume)...

    Tires need replacing?

Is your 07 4x4? What brand and size are your tires? The reason I ask is because my 07 4x4 limited michelin P235 65R 18 tires are worn out at 15K miles. I would be pleased with 40K miles. I am trying to get FORD to stand behind their product, but they are showing a lack of concern...

Dingo, If my dealer doesn't warranty these tires I may want to get some info from you about your settlement if you don't mind. Thanks Lil Red.... I found the thread.

2007 Michelins are shot at 14.5K Miles

This wear is unbelievable. I compared the tread to the spare, and about three quarters is gone. I have never had this poor of performance from a Michelin. Lil Red is your Trac 4x4? I wonder if there is an underlying suspension issue:wacko:?

2007 Michelins are shot at 14.5K Miles

I have a 2007 Limited 4x4 V8 I bought new in July and it has 14,500 miles now. I have stock 18 inch Michelins that are about three fourths worn out ALREADY:angry:. Here's the scoop: I drive 64 miles each way to work four days a week across the continental divide on Interstate 70 in Colorado...

    2007 Hesitation Update

Lil Red... The descent is ten miles from 11000 ft to about 8000 ft. Using brakes is not a safe alternative... I've seen alot of smoking cars and 18 wheelers that were either on fire or rolled due to loss of control from overheated brakes. If I were in OD I would probably hit speeds in excess...

    2007 Hesitation Update

I am driving between 7500 and 11000 feet. Commute through the Eisenhower Tunnel four dasy a week from east to west and back. I work at 9276 feet. Today, after the TSB update yesterday, I drove up the Eisenhower grade from Silverthorn to the tunnel at 70 MPH and what looked like 3600 RPM...

    Bed Extenders

The 2007 factory extender is cheapy compared to the one I bought in 2003 for my 02 and used on my 05. The Westin may be better than the OEM version.

    2007 Hesitation Update

This is a continuation of my earlier post (Yesterday) Got my 2007 V8 4WD back tonight from the dealer after they installed TSB 07-18-08 and the hesitaion is gone. I will be driving it in the mountains back and forth to work over the next several days so I will update regarding gas mileage...

    2007 Hesitation

Thanks for all the responses. Tiger, this is not normal... If it is, Ford will soon be facing thousands of lemon law suits. Todd, the drive by wire thing may explain the problem... new technology usually comes with issues till the bugs get worked out. I also noticed that when going...
