Actually I replaced it as soon as I realized what had happened. It has been running like a champ with no slippage or any other problems. Everything so often stupid works. Thanks for all the help. I am good for now. It has been about 10 days and no issues.

I think I may try rebuilding the valve body and give that a shot. After that I will probably have to hit a tranny shop. Any recommendations on a valve body kit? I have seen some positive reviews for the Sonnax kit.

If you still have this there are 3 things I would like. The drives side rear drip moulding (the one going from the roof rails to the back window). The tailgate locking mechanism. The screws attaching the inner tailgate panel to the tailgate. Let me know.

I have ramps which should give me enough room to be comfortable. I fully expect to be wearing a fair amount of tranny fluid when done.

To do the valve body how long a time are you looking at? The tools did not look to complicated.

One other question. I saw a video from 1AAUTO talking about the valve body gasket replacement. How far should I take this? A simple fluid change. How hard is the valve body gasket job? It looked pretty messy but not too hard. I am pretty handy.
