My new to me sport trac

Havent really done much to my trac as im still working on my little house. Ready to be done with it so i can get moved in. On the trac, a few months back, i replaced all shocks with gabriels, thinking maybe new shocks would stop the clucking and squeaking. Rode a little better but still noisy...

    Diagnostics help needed!

The crank no start issue i found to be a bad pigtail connector on the coil. Replaced that and been running great. I did replace the dpfe sensor and tubes as well as replaced the vacuum hose going to the purge solenoid under the battery tray. Runs much better now, although i will be pulling...

    1st gen brakes

I did wind up going with the z36 kit. Awesome brakes for my daily. I have no intention of pulling anything other than my little adventure camper that im designing. Kinda a crossover between a full blown overlander camp trailer and a teardrop. If i need to haul anything, i generally will use...

    Mobil 1 Oil Change

If you want a better price on amsoil, go to their website and become a preferred customer. You can order what you need or want directly from them and its much cheaper than the local parts store. Ive been running nothing but amsoil products in my harley since its break-in oil change over 20 years...

Extended Travel CV Axle Half Shafts

While the shafts need to be longer, its the angle that kills them. Yes, lengthening the center shaft will change the angles some, but not enough. If all you wanted is longer shafts, i would get a machine shop to make new center shafts out of chromemoly to the needed specs(i would do it myself...

Extended Travel CV Axle Half Shafts

Or call up rcv and talk to them about building a custom set for you. Most definately not cheap, i paid about $2500 for the set i put in my old 2 door tahoe i had with 7.5" suspension lift and 37" tires. Never had a problem.

Extended Travel CV Axle Half Shafts

If i was going to go through all that, i would just get a 5" rough country lift for a ranger and use the front parts and do a spring over axle flip on the back

    P0300 Code - engine missing

Also, clean the maf and the throttle body very good. And check the rubberboots were the vacuum hoses attach. Accidentally bumped one of the lines loose when i was recharging my ac on my f150, and that sucker would lope like it had a b-cammed 351 under the hood!

    P0300 Code - engine missing

On my 97 f150 5.4, if i didnt use motorcraft or msd coils, they wouldnt last but about 15k-20k miles before they would start acting up. It would start off as an occasional.misfire at idle that would get worse till the coil went completely out. Msd and motorcraft couls would last from 50k-65k...
