What is your tie down set up?

I just bought some Rhino Ratchet tie down straps but the hook mechanisms won't attach directly to the external tie downs in any easy way. It came with 4 loop straps but I think I have to have a few more. Was just wondering if anyone has a perfect solution for the ST

Rear End Feels like it slides during turns

2010 Limited 2WD This is an odd problem to describe. When I am making a turn it feels like the rear end of the truck is slipping sideways. It will also occasionally happen when I am driving over a slick plate or when hitting bumps. Its only mommentary but its rather unsettling. I thought it...

    2010 Limited Sub not working

good info. Sounds like all of the most common issues (except for the possible brake light seal leak) are likely to be located all within the speaker and amp assembly. Does the whole unit have one plug going into it so I can just check and make sure juice is getting to the amp? I will feel...

stock but no disc changer that I am aware of (that would be center console, correct?). Good to know on that brake light. I will check that first. Im not above bringing it a car audio shop but figured I would do some minor troubleshooting first.

I have had the truck a few months now but I am just coming to realize that the sub isn't working. I have a Voltmeter and very minor electrical skills but I have never really messed with Car Audio but I am going to tackle the troubleshooting. If anyone has any advice on where to start or know...

    Bumper Step

ah, that makes sense. If you get hit from the rear, front airbags would only help on the rebound.

    Bumper Step

I saw some reports saying bumper guards can be unsafe due to the fact that they keep the airbag from deploying. There is lots of info on front bumper guards and grill racks but very little on rear from what I see. I would think if impact is severe enough to be dangerous, part of the other car...

ended up getting a 2 pin set. I can get it to work ok with the smaller pin but if I wanted to use the large pin I would have to do what @Larry Michael did and unbolt the brake light receptical. This is the one I got (btw, it’s very well made)...

    New guy

Welcome Kevin, I'm Scott. I recently joined here under very similar circumstances. My ST was also my fathers who passed in early 2020. I have only had the truck for a few months because it was locked up in his estate. Like you, I would rather have my pop back but he loved this truck and I am...

Yes. My place backs up to the canal in Algiers. I don’t guess I’m familiar with Deckers. Is that a street?
