I know I have seen one around here before, I want to see some pics of where someone has painted the gray trim of a gold sport trac black.
I am thinking of painting the trim black and putting on a black brushguard and black wheels and wondering what it will look like. I am hoping someone...
I have emailed Paul H about 5 times and have never heard back from him. I really want a C wells or something to fit behind the seat as I lay my seats down daily but can not find anything.
I am doing it tomorrow myself. This would be the second time I have done it (did it on my ranger 2 years ago)
It is not that bad of a job, takes some time but not hard.
I have cracked the top of my leather(or whatever is there) in the cold mornings. I was going to replace it but whoever had it before me gorilla glued the plastic to the fabric and trying to pry the pieces are not working. So I need the top piece to the center console not really care about color...
I ordering the parts today. Going to go with Timkins, I found them at RockAuto for 90ish which is the best price I could find. I do not need them in a hurry as I am out of town on work so my truck is sitting and can wait.
I am also doing ball joints (moog and upper control arms) and shocks...
I have a bad Hub and it needs replacing. Should I spend the money and get a Motorcraft part?
Should I just replace the one that is broken? or should I do both sides? While I am doing what else should I do? I just did brakes so that is not needed, but should I do the bearings while i am in...
MOTORCRAFT Part # WR6120 for wire set
Found that at Rockauto.com They do not have any motorcraft plugs listed.... Check amazon I know they have them (bought some from them b/c I have a prime account)
I am about to do my plugs and wires, I asked the local shop what they would charge and told me $140 and that is with me bringing my own parts in.
I figured I would save myself some money and buy an extra case of beer instead. I really kind of hate to do it but I guess I am going to...
I was looking at your pics in your library Todd and I must say
I love that green trac. It is the color I want for mine. I really wish I could have gotten green but I bought the trac from my grandfather and I am stuck with gold and to cheap to paint it.
I think the $2k Eddie is talking about is for the do it yourself crowd.
I would say the labor cost for a new engine is pretty high as pulling a motor can be some work. You need to ask how much the engine cost and labor to really see how it breaks down.
Now that you know the problem...
I had the same issue but on the outer side. I took it to an upholstery shop and they replaced that one small section of leather and added some more foam to the seat. Cost me around $150.
Thought it was kind of costly really but it was starting to rip more and more each week so I had to do...
I wish I could get 18-20
I did a weekend trip from Charlotte to Atlanta and got around 16-17.5 doing about 75ish. Using cruise control all the way, I just can't get her MPG yet but she is still new to me so I still learning how to drive and have not really changed anything on it except oil...
