After I reset my pcm and changed all I think about code 0301 and 0171 everything was fine for 4 days, now the codes are back, and one thinking noise from the engine one the passenger side, it's so strange..

Sounds like one of your hamsters blew out a flip-flop. Common issue. ;)

Damn, that sucks. Does it change with engine rpm? Is it coming from the dash? Something stuck in the blower fan?
 
Rather deep for ticking, sounds as though something under the truck is bumping may be exhaust pipe. or in the engine bay. Could be engine mounts, If so it should go away if you get off idle. Look closely and you should be able to find it.
 
Possibly an exhaust leak?
 
Thanks for the suggestions. It is definitely in the drive train, seems concentrated in the driver’s side front. Is worse with 4WD engaged. Noise rises and falls with speed.

Yep, lot of folks have fantasies about computers monitoring+knowing everything; ie when the tailgate hinge bolts are too loose. LOL!
 
For my 2002, I also had a ticking sound (almost “tinkling” at times) coming from my drivers side drive train. It was loudest from about 2 mph to 15 mph, and eventually (over the course of several months) grew louder and louder. Finally I engaged the 4WD when I was trying to eventually isolate the sound, and it changed the characteristic of the sound. That is when I found the rear joint (propeller joint or some call CV joint) of the front drive shaft had given up the ghost. Unlike other 4WD assemblies, the front drive shaft of the Tracs always spin with the drivetrain, even when running in 2WD. Swapped out the front drive shaft and ta-da!! Not sayin that’s the issue with ur unit, but might be worth a gander if nothing else….

What you suggest sounds like the most likely suggestion. I’ve made an appointment with a mechanic who specializes in Fords to have a look at the front drive train. Thanks for your suggestion!
 
I have a ticking sound on my 03 ST. Sounded like it was drivers side low down and could hear it at idle. I had the exhaust manifold checked, no leaks. Took it to a mechanic who spend several hours checking the noise and said the catalytic converter was the source with of "bit of tar hung up in the catalytic converter". This was the same mechanic who tracked down my broken door wires that kept my door locks from working so I have some past good experience. Anyone else heard of the catalytic converter ticking?
 
I’ve not, just sometimes a rattling sound that comes from the sheet metal heat shields as they rust through the years and start to come detached.
