I noticed that the power steering shutter in the front end was mentioned. Does anyone know what the cause of this problem is. I have around 12k miles and have noticed it for maybe the last 4 k miles only when turning hard at very slow speeds. Thanks Tony

I have also jacked up all the explorers I have had like this. Just be sure to get the jack directly under the differential to get an even lift.
