    Timing Advance

I have not changed any of the mixture settings. The program does allow you to lean or richen the mixture, but my scanner software does not measure the A/F reading so I left them alone. If anything, they're probably set rich from the factory. All the MAF, IAT, fuel trim and the O2 sensors...

    Timing Advance

I have an XCal (1st gen) and it will adjust timing in the ECM tune. I've had it set all the way from 5 degrees to 20 degrees advance-at idle. I just need to know what the tolerance is before it begins to engage the knock sensors. UB10

    Timing Advance

Anyone know what the actual timing advance numbers are supposed to be at idle for the 4.0L? I'm seeing around 15 deg at 740 RPM with the current tune. I have an SCT Xlacibrator and Auto Enginuity's software and am playing around with a couple of custom tunes for mileage and I cannot...

Brakes Slipping? or ABS Operating at 3mph?

Identical Scenario!!!!! Same year, model, and same replacement rotors= exactly the same problem. Here's what I posted originally. I just installed the SP Performance Diamond slotted rotors (I bought the ones for an '01 Explorer Sport, but I've seen posts here that say they are the same...

    Tranny/rear window trouble

Sounds like your torque converter is not locking when you are in a particular gear. If it's freewheeling, the RPM's will jump up when you press the gas and then it'll clunk into the next lower gear.

    Spark Plug Wires

Chack you IAC, MAF and even the DPFE sensor for rough idling and engine miss problems. As for the wires, you can buy top-shelf aftermarket wiresets for around $70. I used Jacobs wires on mine with Autolite Double Platinum plugs and did it myself for around $100. UB10

    2001 Job 2 Overhead Console

Jeff, Would that be the sides of the console or the sides of the sunroof switch compartment?

    2001 Job 2 Overhead Console

Anyone have a procedure or pics on how to remove the overhead console on an '01 with a sunroof? The console has the sunroof switch mounted in the area where the garage door opener compartment is on the model without the sunroof. All the posted projects show the screws holding the console in...

    Good Service Department in GA

I have used Wade Ford in Smyrna for my last two vehicles. I've gotten good service there with the excpetion of once when the advisor was a jerk-off. They fired him shortly thereafter, so I've continued to use them with no complaints.
