I'm not 100 on this truck. But for some reason its a big deal. On newer vehicles there is computer feedback and it uses a sensor to know position. What gets me is the plugs fit. That's normally a sign of a different application or problem. I hope that fixes it for you.

Do you have Manual or auto dials ? the link says Manual only.

May get a lot more interest on the Facebook pages.

Sadly has to be a short in wiring or pins some where or an air bag part or module.

its been done, can be done with the right prep it will hold up, Just getting into the fine areas sucks and thats where the rust forms.

01-02 then 03-05 - Changes were made but you may be able to get all the needed part sot make it work.

They probably installed the wrong frequency or didn't program properly.... I run Autell dual frequency valve stem style. No issues on any of my 3 gen 2 trucks.

Sunroof, Roof rails, Ect.... Park facing a different direction.

Are they failing you even though there is no light on ?

Ive been able to reuse a few and also had them self destruct upon removal.... Replace it.

Id look over all fuses...

Just buy the angled funnel.... Love mine, was like 12 bucks and comes with a clear window, holds itself in the engine... Amazon.

years of sun on it, plastic degrades, Its that simple.
