Check the fuel pump driver module up above the spare tire on the frame behind the tank.... Ford bolted aluminum to steel.... No bueno.

Dorman works fine.... But like anything else its based of oem design.... it will fail again, but maybe in 10 years..... if your a keeper in a rustless state bite the bullet and o fort wayne.

Issue with the newer trucks is the parts.... all the electronics are not available any more. if something fails, its done. They have rebuilders and other repair places but its a headache to deal with.

Change the serp tensioner and run the 1/2" shorter belt to eliminate all that. a weak battery can cause issues, ALSO starting a truck with a dead battery WILL damage the alternator if you use it ti recharge the battery.. its NOT a charger, it s a maintainer...

That's the JOB 1 motor.... Way better motor... Id change the hydraulic tensioners, and maybe intake manifold gaskets, Injector Upper and 2 piece lower gaskets, along with t stat housing.,..... Seems like a good truck.

did you replace the injector O rings and bottom rings too ?? That's a heater for the TB and PVC.... you can bypass that,,,,,

Sadly I had to do pumps in both my 2010 and a 2008...... Same really as any tank drop. I used a Motorcraft pump, New ford O ring, new metal lock ring, and be careful with the connectors and hoses. Also check the inertia switch and wiring in the pass kick panel first to make sure its not tripped...

yes, JUST be careful if the nut serts start spinning in the fiberglass... Seen a few do that and then your done....
