Bulletproof Front Sway Bar End Links

Oh, you will hear it, it's not subtle. My driveway has a gutter at the end that runs along the street. Pull out into the street at more than a crawl and the front end would clank and bang. At first clank I would slide under and tighten them up a bit. Also, do you feel you get blown around by...

Bulletproof Front Sway Bar End Links

I tried, I really did. Put them all together first and set to tighten them up. Had it up to 20 pounds on the torque wrench but the bushings did not sit correctly. The little flanges just did not have enough squish to force them into the holes in the lower control arm or the bar itself. It may be...

Pics won't be any different than what you have already posted but I will try to remember to snap a couple when I am under there to do the oil change in the next couple of days. Edit: old->oil

Bulletproof Front Sway Bar End Links

Got the second set of ES bushings in. Was looking through my toolbox and found four washers that were left over from the work I did early last year. These washers are like twice the thickness of the ones I bought last week. So, I wasn't happy with the new washers but I had an idea. I have four...

Who’s added an aftermarket 9” or bigger head unit in their ST? Pics or feedback?

Clear it with your choice of shop first. Some places won't install unless you buy the hardware from them, or won't warrantee it... totally reasonable IMO.

Who’s added an aftermarket 9” or bigger head unit in their ST? Pics or feedback?

Seems like a legit operation. Make sure to confirm they are an authorized dealer. With the sheer amount of counterfeit units and shady dealers out on the web, manufacturers have really been cracking down on warrantee support. No authorized dealer, no warrantee. Hell, just a short while ago...

Who’s added an aftermarket 9” or bigger head unit in their ST? Pics or feedback?

Many units on sale at Crutchfield right now. Pioneer, Alpine, Sony, Kenwood, JVC. The absolute lowest quality I would suggest going down to would be Boss. They are total junk but they carry a 5 year warrantee, just make sure to buy from an official retailer (whatever you buy) as you dont want to...

Who’s added an aftermarket 9” or bigger head unit in their ST? Pics or feedback?

Oh, and whatever you do, do NOT get one of those "do-everything wonder-device" Android headunits off Amazon unless you want to come back to your truck and find the dash melted or on fire. So many horror stories on the net concerning those things. If it has the features of a $1000 headunit for...

Who’s added an aftermarket 9” or bigger head unit in their ST? Pics or feedback?

https://www.crutchfield.com/p_130DS6220B/Pioneer-DEH-S6220BS.html?tp=72310 To install a true double din you need to semi-perminately modify the dash, I say "semi-perminately" because once you install the double din kit it cannot be removed without ripping the whole dash apart. You also have to...

Who’s added an aftermarket 9” or bigger head unit in their ST? Pics or feedback?

Thought about it when I recently changed my head unit, then thought better of it. The screen would block the ac vents. Blow cold onto the back of the unit potentially causing condensation on, or in, the unit... or... blow hot onto the back of the unit probably causing it to overheat... or...

Here's a pic of the bushing and cup washer from the Mevotech kit next to the ES bushing with washer... Looks like there should not be any problems.

Bulletproof Front Sway Bar End Links

Going to try and install unmodified first. When looking for K7275 kits I found that, while they all may say K7275, they tend to have different length bolts depending on the brand. I found a set that says the bolts are 10.4" long where many others stated anywhere from 9.75" to 10". Hoping the...

Bulletproof Front Sway Bar End Links

Well, I feel stupid AF. Got the ES bushing a few days ago and have been waiting on fedex for some other parts. They arrived today and I was stoked because now I have something to do that isn't housework or lawnwork or some other boring crap. While unboxing I realized, just now, that I only...

    Seat switches

Just Googled "2008 sport trac seat switch". Came up with a bunch of hits, one on Amazon for about $15. Any look familiar?

Bulletproof Front Sway Bar End Links

I got tired of having to pretty much constantly tighten the damned sway bar links and ordered a new K7275 kit and the bushings from ES. I figured I could find the washers locally and went on the hunt today. I found grade5 washers the correct size. Will they suffice or should I keep looking for...

    Disposal of Used Coolant

There is a recycle place down the street from me where you can take yard debris, construction debris, appliances, cardboard, and household hazardous. Google "around me" is your friend. Or call the city, they will know. Don't send it down the toilet! That is some forever chemical ****. Get...

The PN(a/b), PN(null/a), etc... will likely refer to the caliper piston type being phenolic or steel. The clips are different as the phenolic pistons are smaller diameter.
