Over the last year or so, I've had a handful of sluggish starts. It also happened while my ST was at my mechanic's for brakes. He suggested replacing the fuel pump, which I'll do the next time it's in for service.
Wow, so sorry to be reading this. LaRue was a good guy, always ready to help others in this community. Gone too soon.
RIP. Sincerest condolences to Rose and the entire Medlin family.
Gary, congrats! ST is looking awesome!
My ST is now in it's 16th year, at 105K. The time has flown by.
My cruise buttons were a mess. Membrane covers cracked and fell apart, although the lights and buttons still worked. I found the OEM Motorcraft replacement buttons new, on eBay...
Hi, guys.
Richard: Good to hear from you.
Todd: Sorry to see the old ST go, but I like your new ride!
Mine is in the shop this week for a laundry list of maintenance, getting ready to be my everyday ride again. Really looking forward to driving it regularly again.
Hello, ST nation! Glad to see folks still actively participating here.
My local county dump has a great deal: For $5, you can get a big scoop of mulch that they process from yard waste. The current pile they have at the dump has been sitting for a couple of years, so it's really broken...
Richard...long time! Nice to see you're still here.
There's an AAMCO near me, where I had my ST towed when I had trouble with the computer cable to the transmission. They were fantastic, and all of the feedback I read from other customers of that store basically say the owner is...
Thanks for the replies, all. Todd, will want to continue the conversation about the sound system.
toptobottom: Can you tell me more about the remanufactured motor/tranny? Who was the vendor? What was the cost? Why that route instead of rebuilding what you had?
Howdy, all. Glad to see folks still interacting here. Big time thanks to Todd Z and George C for keeping this place going.
Still have my '01. Has 100K miles on it, and now does light "farm duty" at my rural property in N. Georgia.
My son will head off to college later this year...
I no longer use my OEM tonneau cover, and it's just taking up storage space. It has wear consistent with the age, some minor scratches and fading, but overall still in very good shape.
$150 obo, picked up in Lawrenceville, GA area.
