My daughter took my 2001 4x4 out last night and put it in low to get out of some snowy drive way. She drove it home in 4 low because she said she couldn't get the dash switch to work. Finally read this site and was reminded to step on the brake in neutral to switch back to 2wd. It worked...

After several years of a leaking moon roof with a few dealer repairs both on and off warranty, this time they finally got it right. They replace one of the rear drain hoses and now it works. I wonder if they will refund the money spent on re-aligning the glass (which did nothing) (01 4x4 j1)

Often leave it in 4wd in the snow. Lately the 4wd indicator light clicks off while driving in 4wd. Had the transmission replaced several weeks ago. Not sure if it is actually shifitng out of 4wd when light blinks off for a second or two. Anyone else experience this?

Transmission on my 2001 4x4 needed replacement after only 36K miles. Fortunately had an extended warranty, so only cost me the deductible. Have others had problems with so few miles? -CD
