You may want to check the infamous elbow hose at the top front passenger side of the engine. Its a hose that runs around the side and across the back of the engine. The elbow at the front is a culprit that disintegrates under the bottom of the elbow (unseen).

I need help........I have a 2002 Trac and have found a hose hanging from the top of the driver side rear axle. I cannot find where it goes even though it is only about 2 feet long (its about a half inch black hose). Does anyone have an idea ?

I just ordered from Amazon.com for $59.50 (Motorcraft DPFE15 ) along with the hose Motorcraft KCV190 for $20.77 with free shipping. I don't have time to shop around because of school, but these are the prices I found.

I took mine in for the "Flush" at Town & Country Ford in Charlotte NC. Quoted me $129 for the flush and $89 for the coolant system flush. Imagine my surprise when they handed me a bill for $348 !!!!! They "Serviced" the trans ( new gasket + Filter ) so much for the flush ...

Welcome Lindsay.... I replaced mine with Michelin P255/70R16 Cross Terrain tires. A lot more pricey (Sears) but to me the ride they give in Charlotte and the highway on trips is well worth it. Very quiet and smooth ride.
