Thanks Rich, I called the dealer; the part #AL5Z19D850D is the Suction Discharge Line. The had put a dye in to determine where the leak was and when I brought it back that's when the service writer told me the part was $595. When I called today, it turns out the part is $235 with 3 hours...

Thanks for responding. I'm going to call Ramp Ford in Port Jeff and ask them to supply the part number and a more thorough explanation as I was originally told that there were 8 lines in the A/C but it was the 'main' line that was leaking.

Apparently my A/C has developed a leak and it's the main line. They're quoting a part price of $595.00 which seems excessive and that's without the labor!! Anybody have a similar issue with a '02? Is this the going rate or am I being bamboozled?

:btddhorse: Considering buying a pair of Ionic Running Boards for my '02 ST from Running Board Warehouse. Anybody have any experience with this seller and/or this product? How about another brand? Has anybody replaced their running boards and if so, with what?

There's just NOTHING out there with the configuration of the ST as far as I'm concerned. I'll keep mine('02 Gen2 V 6) until something comparable or better comes along. In the meantime, I'm maintaining the ST in the best shape I can afford.....

Yup, was going to trade my '02 ST in '09 but they lowered the ride and put under bed storage in(???!!!). Oh, well, guess I'll stick with my '02; it's only got 98k. This vehicle is perfect for my lifestyle and my height. Hope Ford rethinks their position.

Anyone purchased an extension of their original warranty? If so, from whom, how much, how long and how reliable. Never put this much mileage on one of my vehicles before; hit the 70K mark 2 years shy of the 7 year max! Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

Forget the noise, driving in Maryland in 2005, when those dang things hit the windshield they're so big and there are so many that I had to pull over to clean them off. I could bearly see!

None of my credit cards has an annual fee; that was listed as one of their selling points so I never bothered to read the fine print. If any of them ever institutes an annual fee, they're gone! Plenty of other cards out there to chose from, why put up with an annual fee?
