My xm2go didn't come with the female lighter plug adapter but my wifes audiovox did... so I kind of borrowed it for my application. the female plug adaptor has bare wires one lables positive the other negitive -

Just got through with the install.... And by the way thanks for all of the input. I spliced the ground of the lighter on the side of the console and I'm getting a good deal of feedback in the back speakers only. Afwill I'll try your method monday. Thanks again, Michael
