It has been a GREAT truck. My wife LOVES it, but I just got her an 04 Sebring and now it is time for me to get into a Vette :)
97k miles, super reliable, miles are from loooong highway trips to Cali, Kansas, etc. New a/c & brake/suspension work.
Please...
I bought a can of refridgerant/oil with a gauge and tried it out. It looks as though I may be doing something wrong because when I put the gauge on it and push down, it looks like it reads over 100 psi. Is it possible I was reading from the hi port or something? Where is the high side port?
I have noticed that even during a nice day out, the a/c takes about 4 minutes or so before it stops blowing hot air and starts blowing cold air. Is this normal?

Just turned 90k miles most are highway miles. It has been very well maintained mechanically. We have taken it to California and back a few times as well as to Kansas, and some other places. We have never had a problem with it ever! New brakes, tune up, etc. just received...
ok cool thanks Tom! One other question though - I believe the Trans Am is lowered. Would this be a problem in towing in the manner you are saying? Also, any companies you recommend in getting it from?
Thanks for the info! I will look into renting a regular tow hitch connected to the frame. As far as renting goes, I have absolutely no idea - I will really need to look I suppose! Any ideas greatly appreciated.
Hey Guys!
I have an '02 Sport Trac with 82,000 miles on it. I need to tow a 1999 Trans Am from about 4-5 hours away. What are your recommendations? I have never towed anything before.
