obd code 1120-throttle positions sensor out of range. i replaced the throttle postition sensor but code is still there. the truck runs good but shifts really hard. 2003 st 4x4 120,000miles. any help?

i recently got a 03 4x4 and it was running perfect. A couple of days after having it I went and tested the 4x4 on a easy trail that a car could make. the next morning the check engine light was on and it was shifting hard. a friend checked the codes and they were about throttle position...
