My 01 St wouldn't engage the starter this mourning. All the lights,switches,horn, works. It has a new battery. It's 4 degrees with 4" of fresh snow so I am hoping one of you folks has an idea of what to check first. I hope you can save an old guy from crawling around in the snow.

Todd ,it depends how much you shoot . I used to run about 3000 rounds a month when I was competing and I found it was worth it. Now I only go through about 500 a month and I pretty much shoot all centerfire.Of course I reload if I was buying commercial loads it would still get pretty expensive.

I'll replace the hoses. I hope that's it ,it's the first day of deer season and it looks like the intake gasket will take awhile to replace.

I've noticed OBD-II scanner,code readers selling for about $40 or so. Do any of you folks own and use one? I know I can go to certain auto parts stores and have it done but if I can get one for around $40 it would be worth it to me.

I recently aquired an 2001,job1,ST and have been trying to bring its maintenance up to date. Would one of you folks let me know where the pcv valve is on a job1? And thanks for all the information you all make available on this site ,it has helped a lot.

Well ,I replaced the oil pressure switch on engine. Nothing changed ,the gauge is still dead. I read somewhere that besides the gauge if you actually lose oil pressure an idiot light comes on. If this is true I'll go on to other projects on my ST for the time being. Would someone be kind enough...

Fast Eddie, I too am hesitant about using additives in oil. That said I have had very good luck with this particular product. I wouldn't use it on a new engine but then I will probably never own anything with a new engine.

nranchero where is the OP sender at on a job 1? I didn't notice any wires near the oil drain or filter but as soon as it stops snowing I'll look again.
