Thanks Bob, I researched the information you gave me and this is a copy and paste from one of the sites I found when I googled the ford PATS systems....so I am up for any other thoughts. It is not a PATS Issue, if: The Service Engine Soon light is illuminated. (Investigate PCM system)...- Ken Thompson 2

Problem with truck shuting down
Today about a mile from the house the truck started to sputter when pushing on the gas (while I was driving approx 50 mph). This happened about 6 times before it finally shut off. I coasted into my neighborhood where I stopped. At this point it started right up and made it home - thankfully...- Ken Thompson 2
