The Dakine pad is prob the best investment you could make for hauling bikes. I regularly haul a few all-mountain and downhill bikes on 5-8 hours trips using my ST. I also never take the thing off and it holds up excellent to weather/sun/etc. [Broken External Image]:

Eddie, Thanks for the info! I will check out HF and try to find a suitable bottle jack. I took a look under the control arm and couldn't find a place flat enough. Where do you jack from?

Sounds like a bad IAC to me. Same thing happened to my last 3 Ford trucks. F-150, Ranger and Sport Trac. I thought for sure it was a clogged filter or bad fuel pump, but after searching found that the IAC was most likely the culprit. Easy fix! Best of luck.

After doing the TT and adding 265/75/16 BFG All-Terrains my stock jack can no longer lift my vehicle enough to remove the tires! I have to use wood cribbing to add height under the jack. Are there any other Ford truck jacks I could look for to get the extra needed height?

EddieS is right on this! Make sure you spray some lubricant into the connection about 15 mins prior to attempting to replace the filter. There is road gunk, sand, etc that will prevent the tool from being able to fully slide into the connection and release the line. A couple years...

swshawaii, I understand that Moog has great products and I have the lower ball joints and their upper control arms. I've yet to find a lower control arm made by them however, so if you want to get new lower CA's, you have to go with another brand.
