The person who Blert referred to was/is a member here, and sells on ebay. The ones he sells are attached by adhesive, not bolted on. Hope this helps.

I have a 2002 2WD V6. I'm wondering about towing a 20' center console boat (3300 lbs. +/-). I would be towing about 150 miles approximately every two weeks. I live in South Central Florida so its relatively flat terrain and speed would be around 60mph. Any thoughts? Thanx Harry

I did not do this myself. A local shop did the repairs. Not sure how many washers were behind the clutch but he mic'ed them and replaced one with one that was .04" thinner. Still working as of last night. BTW mine is first gen. so the compressor was at the top. No lift needed.

UPDATE !!! It appears the problem has been located and resolved, with just a four hundredth of an inch. He mic'ed the spacer washer(s) for the copressor clutch and voila! Just completed a three and a half hour trip, with a few stops and the old girls is blowing like a two dollar.........
