    2009 STA wheel lug nuts

Lost one chrome cover off of the factory (?) lug nuts and would like to replace them all with solid chrome lug nuts. Any preference of brand or source? From what I also see is 100 Ft l torque. Is that correct?

    Travel trailer upgraded

Picked up our new 2022 camper right before Memorial Day and our truck had no problem towing the 4800 lbs. Got only 10.5 mpg towing camper, with 3 dogs, wife and gear on our trip. Normally we get 20.5 mpg or so without towing. Fortunately for us we leave our camper at our site near Crivitz...

Just bought a reman starter from Rock Auto.

Not sure if this helps. I found this interesting that both PN's are listed for a 2004 ST on the NAPA website. Maybe stop by NAPA and take a look at one if they have one in stock? Looks like you found a good deal. 👍

former sport trac owners what do you drive now?

Very good mpg! I only got 49 max on my former Prius.

former sport trac owners what do you drive now?

I still have mine, but my neighbor next door gave his son his 2005 ST when dad's 2022 Ford Maverick arrived after waiting 7 months for it. That is a truck I would consider if it towed 7,000 lbs or so. Neighbor likes the hybrid Maverick so far after 6 months.

    Travel trailer upgraded

V10 would absolutely do it. Luckily we will be just moving the new one 60 miles to our property near Crivitz, WI. Leaving it there to enjoy the north woods. Won't have to unfold both ends of trailer like previous one.

    Travel trailer upgraded

Wife, 3 dogs and I traded in our 2013 Rockwood Roo 20' trailer this past week. Upgraded to a new 30' Grey Wolf travel trailer with more room. Picking up new one in a month. Glad I got a "V8".

    TPMS

Glad the spare does not have a TPMS because it will make it will allow me time to work on the rim and maybe replace the tire if needed. Hopefully the release mechanism that holds the tire in place works. I would not put a TPMS unit on the spare.

    TPMS

Thanks for the replies. When it warms up here in Wisconsin I plan on removing the spare tire to check condition and repaint the rim. Hopefully the mechanism to lower the spare works.

    TPMS

To continue discussion on TPMS's, does the spare tire have one?

    2002 ST Headlight Lens Replacement

Good idea to mark the original ones for projection on the door and then check after new ones are in. These do not have left/right adjustmant screws. The housing is pretty secure that this is not needed imo. But, they do have an up and down adjustmant screw that will most likely be needed. You...

    2002 ST Headlight Lens Replacement

I did the whole seam and the folled in black tabs especially (where I found the leak). I did the non-leaking one too.

    2002 ST Headlight Lens Replacement

Maybe this can help. Same here on both sides for headlight replacements due to originals were really cloudy and scuffed. Very easy replacement and had condensation and water in one. I removed it, rinsed it with distilled water because there was condensation water marks inside, dried the inside...

Replacing Rocker Panels 2010 Adrenalin - some questions

That was what I am hoping for...shop I am looking at does that type of work. Either way, with fabrication of parts or replacement pieces, I would like it done. I am older now and me crawling under cars or trucks to remove rust and bad areas and repair with bondo is not fun anymore.

Replacing Rocker Panels 2010 Adrenalin - some questions

Thanks for the update. I'll let you know what the local restoration shop says when they look at it. I plan on having the truck done this year. I'm not sure if the uniside needs to be replaced on mine, but am glad that it is available if need be. Sounds like a good price. Verbal quote last...

Replacing Rocker Panels 2010 Adrenalin - some questions

Thanks for the heads up on this and hopefully the resto shop can do it at a reasonable price and within my budget. Prices of used trucks here in the Milwaukee WI area are ridiculous. Good luck Gagnier on your repairs. I too plan on keeping mine for a long time.

Replacing Rocker Panels 2010 Adrenalin - some questions

Interesting topic. I am considering having the rocker panels and cab corners on my 2009 STA done too and will be taking it in shortly to the resto shop when the owner gets back from vacation for an estimate. Do you know if replacement panels are available, or do they fabricate the parts?

    Joining as a possible buyer

Yes...they are good containers to hold your favorite beverages and ice to keep them cold and the water drains out the bottom of bins.
