I am looking to get a K&N kit for my ST, does it make a difference if my ST is JOB 1 or 2?

Yes it does. I have a job too and ordered the wrong one for my Trac. the easiest way to tell is to look at the throttle cover. If it has the letters SOHC spelled out, it is a job two and will take K&N kit # 57-2591-1 FIPK Generation II.

If you have a job 1 there is a member in the swap and sell section selling one for cheap.
