Go to this web site. Get them to email you a secure portable complaint form PDF. Fill it out with your info and complaint about the detereating cab to frame bushings. You will be able to upload it to a secure site. I did and stated this should be a safety concern. Not normal for these bushings to fail IMO, within a few years. If we can get enough of us to complain. Maybe NHSTA can force a recall on '01 to '05 Tracs.

My '04 bushings started crumbling shortly after the warranty was out:angry:. I have only owned one other truck. A 1963 C-10 chevy from '76 to '80. The bushings on it were not crumling. IMO, talking with folks about there old trucks. The only ones that had this problem. There trucks were 15 to 20yrs old before they had this problem.

Thanks to all members that do...

They must have had a bad batch or supplier... I check my 190,000 mile 2002's bushings last week, they look fine, still pliable...

LOL.... add the steering wheel, slipping PS pump, Bad 4:10 rears.... ball joints...

LOL

Sorry, just had to..

Todd, Ditto....Im looking at the safety aspect of a loose cab on a frame.

Scott, everytime I touch mine a piece falls out. Many others had the same. I live in southeast Tx. No road salt or chemicals.
