My 02 Sport trac has had a check engine light that I couldn't diagnose. (have another thread about that)

Anyway, today I could hear a vacuum leak and after inspection I found a line down below the battery that has a bust in the side. There seem to be two lines there, only one is leaking. How do I find a replacement? Do I need to pull it off first, then go find a hose that fits or is there some sort of part number I can ask for?

Much cheaper to determine the inside diameter of the hose and just go get some bulk vacuum line.
Or, if it is just the end that is borked you can trim it a bit and jam it back on, if you have enough slack of course.

No way to repair this one, from what I can tell the split is right in the middle of the line and it feels very dry rotted. I will just pull it off and go get something that matches.

I just work on my fuel line and this vent hose is what you talking about, you can replace it with one 3/8 fuel hose
