03-05 Explorers

Thinking of getting a used one within this year range, I like the interior much better than the current one.

Anything I should be aware of? Is any year more reliable than the other?

My friend has an 05 v6, No problems so far 28K miles...

They are nice, Ride nice and the looks are not to bad...

I am thinking of getting one for myself. I like some things about the Trac but it is just too clumsy. I still wish many times that I had my '00 Explorer for its ease to move around and the roomy interior.



My dealer has come up with an 05 Explorer XLS Sport 4x4 that some guy bought about a year ago during closeouts. He only put 6K on it and traded it recently for an Expedition. They want $16,490. I am thinking about getting this one. Everyone I know that has this generation of Explorer says good things and the '00 was one indestructable.

My wife has an 03, All Wheel Drive model. fairly loaded up. Nice ride, very comfortable.



In fact,,,, take over the payment you can have it. I want to buy her a Lexus SUV...
