'04 fuel filter

I was in Walmart getting oil, and asked if they had a fuel filter for my '04 Trac. He looked it up and got me one (#G 8018). When I brought it to the mechanic, he looked at the original one while the truck was up on the lift and said it looked like the wrong one, something about the end being the wrong size. Anyone have any similar experiences? Or, better yet, recommendations on which to use? Should have done a search but will do so now. Thank you.

Fram's website doesn't even list fuel filters and Google didn't come up with much either.

My '03 filter has three (3) connections.

ford played games with the fuel filters, most o1's have 2 connections,, the 02 can have either or, and even a different size can, and then o3 is all same, and 04 was different....
