06 F150 Super Crew

Bought a new 06 Super Crew this weekend. I looked at the Sport tracs but I really needed to be able to pull the ST. Only down side is I bought the 4.6 so I hope it tows ok. I have a Dynomax cat back system & a K&N on the way for it to help it out. Anyone else out there have the 4.6?

Yeah I normally tow with F350 diesel dually. I'm sure I'll notice the difference. lol

Make sure to check out F150online.com for info on your new truck. Go to the 04 and newer category for the best info. There are a few 4.6 owners on there that can help you out.

My '04 F150 reg. cab had the 4.6- seemed strong enough. My current F150 supercab has the 5.4 and seems to be about as strong. My truck is an FX4 w/the 6.5' bed- probably heavier than yours. You should be fine.

Had an Expedition with the 4.6. Towed a 21ft travel trailer with it without any problems. Good thing about the 4.6 was it got the same gas mileage I get with the ST. Except when towing of course. Then I was lucky to get 14.
