If anyone is interested here is the new Escalade. It comes with a 6 speed trnsmission, 403 hp and 417 ft/lb of torque

Funny how people will spend $$$$$$ on luxury 4WD vehicles that go in the snow...and a Jeep Wrangler that costs 1/4 to 1/6 that amount can tackle the Rubicon Trail. I suppose it's a prestige thing.

yeah, i don't care for them.

Thats all we need. Soccer moms that never drove anything bigger than a honda accord driving a 400 HP monster truck.

You never know when Muffy might need to go 4 wheeling. Have you ever noticed how high they're making those speed bumps in the mall parking lots these days? :D

LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT! The second its financially feasible for me to purchase one I'm getting it. I love those things. Fell in love with them the second they redesigned them. Even more so now.

Fred,

muffy might need help walkin gover the speed bumps in the mall parking lot.

I am a NYC sanitation worker, in the street all day and wouldnt believe the things we see. Once had a lady struggle to get into one of those. She was barely as tall as the bottom of the drivers door window.

She gets in, trys to pull away and about 50 feet down is my garbage truck, not enough room to squeeze a ranger through. She wails the horn, yells some curses at us and then procedes to push through ripping her mirror off the drivers door.

Doesnt even stop, keeps speeding down the street as if nothing happened. Only on the streets of NYC. Things like this happen a couple times a week, even more in the winter weather.

THe front end is horrific. But 400hp is funny. THe people buy them, complain about gas prices, rip the process, I've seen it 100 times.

I'm really loving the Escalade. Have been since the day it hit the streets. I will have one one day, hopefully soon. I don't even care about the cost, it's my money, I'll spend it as I please, hell if the day comes where I have that type of dough, I'll buy an Escalade for myself and a Navi for my wife and why not, I'll get an Aviator for my baby girl!!!
