First issue with my '07-4.6.
Appears that the fuel pump has gone out. I just changed the Fuel Pump Driver control module hoping that would be the issue, but no luck for an easy fix. Luckily, I do have a motorcycle jack that has two rails about 15 inches apart so stability shouldn't be a problem when I drop the tank to change the pump. Thank goodness for that since the tank is 3/4 full. I have searched through the threads but I didn't see a lot for the 2nd Gen with this issue. If there's a thread out there already, please add the link!
Any advise on what to watch for or be careful of would be much appreciated. Not looking forward to this to be honest. I'm glad mine is an AZ truck and it is clean underneath, I'm more concerned about what can break as the heat here dries the plastics and rubber out.

Sadly I had to do pumps in both my 2010 and a 2008...... Same really as any tank drop. I used a Motorcraft pump, New ford O ring, new metal lock ring, and be careful with the connectors and hoses. Also check the inertia switch and wiring in the pass kick panel first to make sure its not tripped or damaged.

Thanks, I'll double check the inertia switch first!
If the pump was in the right spot, I'd cut a hole in the bed for access and put in a removable access plate.
