07 Improvements over earlier ST models

Previously I owned an 04 XLT ST..

Here are a few things I love about my new 07 Limited ST....



Turn radius.....wow, no more 3-point turns just to get out of a parking lot

Sound system.....very nice, sub is just enough bass for me

info system.......great for idiots like me, i know where the gas and oil goes

dual air......must have if your wife is cold all the *%#$ time

cab seems a bit bigger but the bed seems a bit smaller

interior.....very stylish and seats seem to sit better

steering wheel controls......how did i make it without these

coolers in the bed.....i haven't tried them out yet but these will come in handy



I actually love everything about it but these are some highlights. I'm interested to see if anyone else has similar feelings.....

Amen brother. Amen. I don't sweat my ass off anymore because she is too cold in the summer and in the winter........

Don't forget:



A MUCH better ride than the old ones have.



Very little vibration.



Less wind noise.



Built in twin beer coolers in the bed.



Beer can holder in the door pocket on BOTH sides now.



Interior lighting much improved, especially in front. Delay is very handy.



Power on after shutting it off is handy for radio and windows.



Power outlet in the rear seat.



Open area under both rear seats / subwoofer in rear panel.



V-8 engine hauls ass and sings a very sweet sound.



Rear bumper/Class III hitch looks bad-ass.



Dashboard design change is welcome.



Seats are more comfortable.



Side seat airbags and safety canopy air bags increase safety.



Traction control / limited slip front and rear is standard.



V-8 engine spark plugs are up on top-- very easy to access. No plug wires either!



Cab is much roomier than first generation.

Oh-- forgot that the headlights do a GREAT job of illuminating the roadway-- much better than Gen I Tracs.

Huh. My '03 had it on the passenger side, but not the driver's side.

when they do something with the front of the 07's then I may consider one.. right now they're just "blah" to me.

Mine are on both doors. Nice feature.(Beer can holders):lol:

Mine also had only one, but i do miss the 40 oz beer holder up front....
