I have an '07 Limited ST and use it to tow my boat. The boat is 8'6" wide and I cannot see a thing behind me when towing. I tow the boat a lot...at least 2-3k miles a year. So far this year it has just been 3 hour trips max, but I am going on a 10 hour trip in a few weeks and want to have better visibility for the long journey. Has anyone looked into this or stumbled across a good product?

This is the only decent option I have found.

If you have any ideas, I am all ears.

Thanks,

I have those, and they work pretty good, although they vibrate more than i would like. I take a lot of long trips w/ the camper, and it gets annoying after a while... I have not found a better mirror other than those. the new '07 may be different. I've considered trying to adapt F250 extendable mirrors, but they are way different to fit on an '01-'05 trac. I bought mine at walley world for $48.00 each.. The other issue with these is that they droop off after awhile, especially if you wax or armour-all your mirrors...

I would like to try these:

they look like they might work.

If i am towing a short distance, oftem i go w/o mirrors... HTH

Here's what I use for my travel trailer. A little pricey, but they do work really well and are adjustable to different situations.
