07+ ST's on XCal Tunes

What are some noticeable gains that people are seeing with the XCal 3 Tunes on the 07+ ST's?



I know there was some talk about the throttle by wire being a little slow, and I can see that now that im putting the pedal to the metal sometimes on my STA... Does this get better with tunes?



Also, is the shifting any better, as in happening quicker?



Can you tell a major difference with the tunes from stock? (MPG dont apply)

Tunes can make a huge difference, depending on the tuner and the choices they make.

Im sure Torrie knows what he's doing, however, I dont want a generic tune, I want to have a custom tune that goes above and beyond what you get out of the box... How can one really know that the tune they get is the best tune they can possibly get?...

I am sure your not getting a "box" tune from Doug or torrie.....



Also once you get that tune, hit the dyno, Get numbers, Email it to them and re dyno, Thats the only way to tune each vehicle specifaclly....



Yes tuners can get it close, But each vehicle is slightly different..



Also most of the time the tune you get from them has their own personal tweaks any way...

The tunes can be bought unlocked, BUT the parameters you can change on your own are limited to the changes you can make.....



So You can make slight changes to the tunes your self, but you cant make the fine adjustments like the tuner can...

Also as Todd said you can make base tune adjustments when enabled and change optional parameters on the unit itself. If someone wants me to make changes after the fact or while on the dyno anywhere on this earth Ill make the revisions they need when they feed me the correct data and tune the vehicle remotely. I do this daily as it sits now.

What does a dyno run cost approx? Im not even sure where to get this done here, but im sure in a city the size of the one I live in there is one around.



Where is Unleashed Tuning located?



I would really love to have someone spend the time on my truck to make the tune exactly what it should be.

I usually charge $399 above the price of the device to fully tune a vehicle on the dyno. If its something really complex that goes up.
