Has anyone noticed, are the 8's equipped with a class IV and the 6's with class III?

The V8 I looked at yesterday had a 2 inch receiver class III. The stock V6 I saw had a 1-1/4 inch class II receiver. The receivers are welded in as part of the frame.

The option is there to have a class III or IV installed depending on the engine size which dictates the towing capacity. YOu have to pay extra for the larger hitch.

XLT & Limited both come with CLass II standard, the smaller hitch. The Class III/IV is a $150 option on either model. For $150, for sure get the larger hitch. You never know when you might need it.......
