Hope you didn't get to 100K spinning your tires in the sand. Just kidding, congrats!

Congrats! When you get the chance would you please post a close up pic of how you have your pole(s) attached on top? So tired of bending my rods crammed in the back. I was thinking of screwing a few pvc pipes to the inside of the bed. But that leaves the oem cover half open. Is it Velcro strips around the roof rails? Thanks

What better place to reach 100k?:supercool:

I'll take some pictures of the mounting points but I didn't have a tonneau cover when I had the flags mounted. You can make a pole and bracket to bolt into the bumper hitch or the frame mounting hitch.

sorry Jerry. I meant how did bob k attach his FISHING rods(poles). or do you have fishing pole mounts? your bumper is hard to see in that pic. I think I do recall yours having a flag attached in a pic somewhere. :supercool:

found a pic of your flag mounted inside the bed on your swap & sell for your sport bar. So yeah a pic of how it mounted would be great when you get around to it. Like a few brackets I guess so I can stick my fishing poles into so they stick straight up. I was thinking I will go this route but I like the way bob"s look on top of the ST as well. hell, maybe do both ways and carry everyone's rods. Guess i'm wondering how you screw something into the plastic bed liner wall to hold strong?

My bad. I've had a couple people ask how I mounted the flags inside the bed. I'll take some pictures after work and post them. :supercool:

Thanks Man. I crawled under the st today. Looks like I can drill through the plastic bed. Put some bolts through with nuts on the other side. Its seems all the oem stuff that's attached to the bed also has a metal plate on the back side before the nuts for strength. Don't know how those are attached though. Anywho, pics would be cool. Thanks

markaprice73 all i used was a couple strips of Velcro..about 2 inches wide and 8inches long

one near the front and the other near the back wrapped around the rack and the pole.

in the bed i keep a pole that is 2 pieces and i used pvc pipe and mounted 1 near the front of the bed a a second near the rear of the bed. hold the pole very well.

Didn't get a chance before dark to take pictures but in this picture you can see the metalupright that the bed extender bolts to is where I use self-tapping screws to bolt the angle iron to to mount the flag.

Thanks guys!!! I will follow up with some pics when I get around to this project. Thanks again for the ideas. bob k, looks like you did the velcro nice and tight so as not to scratch up the paint. :supercool: how did you screw into the bed? self tapping screws? ...nice hat Jerry!
