$10K to Spend on my ST!!!

So, before anyone asks me why i'd spend 10k on my ST -- I love it Sooooooo....



What to get? I have about $10,000.00CAN I can spend on my ST next month.... Ill list what I have so far, if people can suggest what else I should, could do??!?



Im looking for exterior looks and performance mods. Its a 2001 ST 2WD.

Custom Sub Enclosure w/ Split Rear Seats

Tinted Windows

0 Guage Electrical Upgrade

Excide Deep Cycle Battery

Clear Front Corners

Carbon Fibre Tail Lights

Dual Flowmaster Exhaust

Painted Calipers/Rotors

200 Amp Powermaster Alternator

EE Swaybar

Custom Amplifier Rack

Removed Roof Racks



Again, the above is a list of mods already installed.... Some items ive thought about...



Xcal2 Flasher

Throttle Body Upgrade

New ENGINE? (V8)

Custom New Paint Job

Rear disc brake conversion

New Interior flooring (carpet? new rubber?)

Smooth Grooves on top of cabin

Tonneau Cover

Billet Grille ( with crossbar removed that FORD logo resides )

Supercharger (If I dont go with engine swap)



Ultimately Id like to see 300+ HP out of it... If this requires a new engine/tranny, so be it.

CK, uh.. you could let me have a couple of thousand to upgrade my 2001 ST:lol: or you could pay that 01 off and get you an 07 Limited loaded with everything! OR... you could have a contest on this website and give it away in thousand dollar increments to some lucky souls who can't do what you are contemplating!



But really, do what you wish, as that is a lot of money to spend leisurely. Me? I would finish the last balance on my 01, then buy an 07/08 Limited in Silver Birch with all the bells and whistles!:wub:

Anything you do is your choice, if u decide to go with the 07, you are starting all over with mods again, yes it will come with the V-8, but you will start from scratch in what you want to do with it. I am keeping my 05 and continueing on with the mods. I would do the following



X-cal

TB

Super charger

for the power train and then some of the exterior stuff that u mentioned.



Good louck in any of the choices you have choose.

You can add a Flex-A-Lite 180 Extreme electric fan to that list. Great mod, when installed correctly, despite my initial challenges.

Sorry, as much as I love my vehicles, and I do love them, there are beter things I would put that money to. A downpayment on a garage with an attached house would be a good start.

I personally would have the v6 rebuilt as a bullit proof supercharger motor, 3K, add the super charger, 4X , Rebuild the tranny stronger, 2K then get the Xcal2 Flasher 375 ,MAF Sensor, 150 Throttle Body Upgrade 135.

Go put on your thinkin' toque , eh? You live up in 'da Great White North, eh?

So, like it gets really cold up there, no? I would first, save some of that money for

some really good Labatt's Extra Stock, and consider a good engine block heater,

and maybe a remote starter, so that if you are ever sitting in the Villiage Inn in

Leamington, Ontario, your oil doesn't turn to Jello in those cold (11 months of) winter

days?

I just think some of those Loonies could be put to better use!
