12 Volt Wire to Battery

Im trying to run my 12 volt wire from my new sub to the battery and not sure where or how to access the battery. i have run it just under the steering and i see something that might be access to right of the emergency brake. Its a large group of wiress into a handle type holder. Not sure how to release it, if you push or pull.



Are there any pictures or descriptions of how to go through the firewall?



This is a 2004 Sport Trac.

Go to the light section in the projects section. A project by Rich Stern (PIAA 40 installation) will show you where to run the wire through the firewall and attach to the battery.
