I have read a lot of guys have 31's and 33's on 15x8's but I went out this weekend and tried two diffenret sets of 15x8 rims on the front of my '02 ST and had zero clearance on the calipers (one set actually rubbed).

Are there any wheels out there design for more brake clearence. Both the sets I tried were designed specifically for jeeps.

Thanks

Corwyn

Jeep rims have more backspacing than ones for Fords, although the bolt circle is the same. Use a 15x8 with 3.75" backspace, which is common, and you'll be fine. 33's won't fit unless you've lifted it.

I used 15" rims on my truck. I don't have the information at hand, but when I get home I can give you the specifics. The wheels were described as allowing extra room for the calipers. I ordered one to try and it worked. Then I ordered the other three.
