Anyone have a thought as to whether or not these Ford wheels would fit properly on a 2001 Sport Trac 2wd (preferably without spacers)?

[Broken External Image]:

I've been out looking for new wheels and these 16's resemble what I've been looking for. They were originally released for a 2003-up Ford Ranger Tremor edition. I'm still trying to find more information on their backspacing etc.

Assuming they're compatible I'll then get to start trying to hunt for them here in the Phoenix area.

I believe they will not fit with out spacers....

You can just get a set of 05 sport Trac rims... they are really close or the same

CLICK on the link below.. there is a pic...

They'll fit without spacers. It's teh same wheel as the ST wheel, but with the "Thumbprint" painted. It's also the same wheel as came on the Pioneer Edition ST and first run ('03) Adrenalins.

I was under the impression that Ranger and Trac wheels are completely compatible without need for spacers. The Ranger wheel shown is pretty nice and it's got polished aluminum (I think), but as Tiger pointed out, the "thumbprints" and open areas are painted.

A buddy of mine just pointed out to me that similar wheels are available in 17's. I guess that were available on Exploders. I may look to see if I can find them reasonably priced. I found some on eBay but at least one seller was asking almost unreasonable sums for the rims.

I know my existing rubber isn't gonna last much longer and I figure 17's are a better choice than the stock 15's.
