17" FX4 Wheels - Will They Fit?

I know I could probably search this out but what the heck, this site needs another post!!!! Just kidding this is by far the best owners site I have ever seen.



Any way I need to know if 17" FX4 wheels will fit by 01 ST. If so are any specific mods needed (spacers, etc) and what is the "ideal" tire size.

Not the 2004 and up- they are 6 lug.

Ranger fx4 - should fit. might be a slight clearence issue due to wheel offset.

F150 fx4 - Nope. wrong bolt pattern.

I'm guessing F150 wheels, because Rangers don't come with 17's. So, no.

The 16 inch ones from the newer ST's (04-05') or Ranger will fit without any modification.



The 17 inch ones off of the newer Explorers (2002 on up) will fit, but might rub which will require spacers. The tire size that comes with them (245/65/17 - I think) will have very little effect on your speedometer. As to the biggest size that will fit, I have no idea.

These are 17's (17 x 7.5) 2002 F-150 FX4. 5 lug.

You will need spacers, probably 1.25 Minimum all the way around.... Might be safe to use 1.50
