Many years ago, I owned a red 1956 Ford 2 door hardtop and it was one of my favorite cars.

Not to hijack your post, but my grandson Jeremy (that's him putting on the headlight trim) built this '66 Galaxie for the owner of Beach Ford in Virginia Beach Va. Took him and a helper two years to complete.

I had a '63 galaxie, 406 tri-power @ 950cfm and T-10 racing 4speed. Loved that car. I took the gold 406 flags off and replaced with 390 silver flags...LOL..The 406fe 6V motor was 8months in production, before the 427fe 8V engine in the '63 1/2 galaxie.

Anyone else have some thing to post here is welcome...
 
These are the kinds of things I have the internet for. Besides paying bills, what else is there to do than look at beautiful cars. Great thread!
