Hello Everyone,

I've tried using the Search feature on these SportTrac forum thread but I have not been able to find any post which states the power output for the Stock Audiophile 2002 Pioneer 6-Disc CD deck.

I'm curious to know Max and RMS Watt Output X 4.

Thanks.

If I recall correctly, Peak watts x .707 gives RMS watts.

Assuming the 290 watts includes the Sub output, then 290 divided by 5, times .707 is about 41 watts per channel. (Assuming all channels have the same output IC)

A rough guess at least ;)

Umm.... since the rear sub has it's own amp... I'm thinking however much that amp puts out should be subtracted from the 290? Anyone know how much that lil amp gives to the stock sub?

I'm going to graft a Kicker 6.5" Sub into that box in back and put an after-market amp in place of stock one (I think it'll just barely have enough room to fit at same spot if I'm creative ;))

Since I'm going to be upgrading the sub equipment I was toy'ing with the idea of upgrading the door speakers all around if I found a good price on some.

I figured I'd pick a pair that the stock unit could decently so-so power for now... then next year sometime get a new Double DIN DVD head-unit like 50W x 4 or 80W x 4.
