2002 Trailblazer Question

My trailblazer is stuck on heater, if I set the temperature on the climate control to cold (blue) it still blows hot air. Seems like the flaps inside are not moving to open and close. Is this controlled by a vacuum line or does anybody know how to troubleshoot this?

Most of the vents on vehicles today works on vaccuum. You may have a hose off (under the dash) or a bad switch.

Easy fix...... trade it on a Ford!



Sorry, had to. 4 Fords in the driveway and a Mopar hidden in the garage with no motor in it.

Ah, the Trailblazer. I had my eye on this one (and the Envoy) when it came out. 270 horses with 6 cylinders (naturally aspirated at that) sure is sexy. I'm glad I went with the Trac though. Little as the bed may be but it has come in handy on more than a few occassions (bed extender helps too). Rear passengers also frequently compliment comfort levels back there too. Sweet. I know it's sick but, even after 3 years of ownership I still find myself oggling my Trac from the window.
