2003 ST: Bizarre rear turn signal issue. Please Help!

So When I use the turn signals, say, signal to the left. The front left turn signal is on but the rear right tail light flashes. Vice Versa as well when I signal to the right the front signals right but the rear signals left. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My first guess would be the turn signal switch.

Very common 2001-03 issue and possibly the multi function switch (MFS) connector. IF you have a tilting column, tilt it ALL the way up and down several times leaving iit all the way UP. If that helps, check the archived project below found in the "maintenance" section. Good luck!

Figured out the issue. Looks like it was worked on before. The wires to the signals were crossed. Had to cut the wires and reroute.
