I've touched on this before, and after a pretty thorough search, I am looking for you interior gurus to chime in.
I'm trying to match bezel paints. I picked up a bezel from a member, but looks to be too dark. I earlier asked if the colors changed, and Paul H replied in the affirmative.
From using fordparts.com, it appears that 01-02s came in either grey metallic or titanium. I believe the one I have is titanium, as its made-on date is in the 2001 and it is darker than my 04 bezel. Fordparts lists the 03 w/ fog bezel as being "Steel Finish", and it fits 03-05 (though technically 04-05 do not have the fog hole).
Does this seem right? I want to pull the trigger and order, but don't want to find myself with two bezels that are off. And no, I won't blame you.
