2010 Sport Trac Adrenalin

i was at one of our ford dealerships today and i saw a blue adrenalin like todds.

it really caught my eye so i went to take a closer look and maybe see what numbers i could

talk with the salesman. what i noticed on the vehicle info sheet was that it was listed as a 4.0L sohc v6. i did not know Gen. 2 Adrenalins came in V6. i have always thought all were V8

Ahh nope. I have a 2008 Silver Burch Adrenalin. It has the 4.0L V6 power plant yep for sure and certain.

Everything you can get in a V8 Adrenalin can be equiped in the 4.0L V6.



I would only get a V6 if you had the money to supercharge it! And if you do that...I'd buy a used one



I always thought, stock for stock, the 4.6L V8 was pretty whimpy without some mods. I can't imagine what it's like to drive a Gen2 with a 4.0 with 80-90 less HP.



I had an 03 with the standard equipment 4.0L and it was pretty slow up hills and towing. It wasn't bad around town though. It just didn't feel like a sporty powerhouse. Both my modded 08 and my stock 2010 feel as they look imho.



To me, thats important in the Adrenalin. I always felt that if it's going to look badass...it really should be.
